Whether you are going on vacation, visiting family or friends or tending to an unforseen emergency, you can rest assured that by boarding your pet at Herbie's boarding kennels, your pet will be receiving the professional, friendly care that he or she deserves.

It can often seem a good idea to leave your pet with a friend or neighbour, or choose a boarding kennel simply because it is the one closest to your home.

Sometimes these choices can lead to unsatisfactory outcomese.g. pets falling ill, escaping etc because of a lack of knowledge and expertise that correct animal care requires.

Herbie's boarding kennels is owned and run by an english qualified veterinary nurse with over 7 years experience and also holding recognised certificates in canine psychology and animal care.

We are a small establishment comprising of only 6 kennels,

which ensures that your pet can receive the daily care,

and attention which it requires.

Each kennel is fitted with an infrared dull emitter heat lamp. These provide gentle but penetrating warmth without raising the ambient air temperature to help reduce

the risk of possible cross infection between animals.

Smoke alarms and fire fighting equipment within the kennel block.

Pets in need of special diets, specific exercise routines or administration of daily medication are able to board. (Medication and special diets must be provided by the owner).

24 Hour veterinary cover in place.
